About Me
Hi, I’m Art. I am the founder and principal writer here at Artabides.com. As far back as I can remember, I’ve always had a passion for reading and writing. I’m excited about the new opportunities blogging affords me. It’s a good outlet where I can be creative and express myself. I enjoy blogging, but it’s only one aspect about me. In my day to day I take on many roles. Above all, I am a family man. I am a husband, father, brother, son and uncle to name a few. I am a proud U.S. Army Veteran. I’m also fully employed at a well known national freight company. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I like being out and doing things socially. I enjoy live music and movies and get out to shows as often as I can. I enjoy trying new restaurants and different types of food. I have more hobbies than I actually have time for, some say. Hobbies like playing guitar, archery, fishing, woodworking and now blogging to name a few. I hoping that all these interests and experiences will afford me ample material to blog about. As you visit the site I hope that I can keep you informed, engaged and, most of all, entertained. In return, I hope that you will subscribe to this blog and invite your friends and loved ones to visit and do the same. I would really appreciate that. Hello! I am Maria Flores, contributing writer and technical director at ArtAbides.com. It has been fun creating this site along with my husband. I spend most of my day in the corporate world grind so I am excited for the opportunity to dive into the creative side of me and help make this blog fun and informative.
When I am not working, or blogging, I am spending time at home with my family just living in the day to day, we all know life can get busy! My favorite thing to do for fun is attend live sporting events. . . football, baseball, basketball, soccer. . . we aren’t always cheering for the same team, but that just makes it all the more fun and interesting. My favorite thing to do to unwind is a hot bath . . . with the works . . . bubbles, candles, music, wine.
